Selling on Amazon is a competition. It’s true. And to generate more sales you must make sure your selling strategy is a step up for your competitors. Even the tiniest details can make a difference in your listing.

For instance, the way your listing is written. Seems simple, right? Well, it’s true. The way your listing is written and the words used to describe your listing can make a difference.

You always need to think about:

  • Keyword-rich content: Choose keywords that match your listing and the searches people make.
  • Bulleted lists for descriptions: Lists are easily scan-able and get info to the prospective buyer faster than paragraph descriptions.
  • Clear and accurate listing titles: Seems straightforward, but without a clear title, you risk losing potential buyers because of immediate click-through to another product.

People skim digital content – even if it’s just an Amazon listing. This means you have less time and minimal opportunities to get someone the right content.

Rule of thumb, always be:

  • Short
  • Succinct
  • Descriptive
  • Accurate
